Join Our Team: Experienced Immigration Paralegal (Spanish-English Bilingual)

The Law Office of Zhang is a fast-growing immigration law firm serving individuals, entrepreneurs, startups, technology companies, and multinational employers throughout the United States. We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and motivated Spanish-English Bilingual Immigration Paralegal to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an immigration professional who enjoys working on a wide variety of complex cases and wants to be part of a collaborative, client-focused, and technology-driven law firm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file family-based, employment-based, business-based, and humanitarian immigration petitions and applications.
- Draft immigration forms, support letters, attorney correspondence, motions, and USCIS responses.
- Manage case deadlines, client communications, and document collection.
- Conduct legal and factual research.
- Maintain accurate case records using Docketwise and other case management systems.
- Communicate professionally with clients, government agencies, and third parties.
- Assist attorneys with case strategy, case preparation, and client consultations.
- Utilize AI tools and legal technology to improve efficiency and case management.
Qualifications Required
- Fluent in both Spanish and English.
- Minimum of 2 years of immigration law experience supporting immigration attorneys.
- Experience handling a broad range of immigration matters, including:
- Marriage-based immigration
- Employment-based immigration
- Business immigration
- Removal proceedings
- Naturalization and citizenship matters
- Strong knowledge of USCIS, EOIR, and Department of State procedures.
- Proficiency with Docketwise and immigration case management software.
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Fast learner with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Responsive, dependable, and client-service oriented.
- Applicants must be comfortable independently preparing immigration forms, drafting petitions and support letters, managing deadlines, and communicating directly with clients with minimal supervision.
- Must possess reliable transportation and be willing to travel as needed. This is a hybrid position that may require attendance at meetings, court appearances, client appointments, networking events, and firm functions.
Preferred
- Experience with EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, O-1, H-1B, L-1, PERM, removal defense, and family-based adjustment of status cases.
- Experience utilizing AI tools in a legal environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
